Powerstride Hockey Techniques Ltd. was incorporated in 1989 in Canada. Powerstride Hockey International, Inc. was incorporated in the United States in 1997. The Powerstride trademark is registered in both Canada and the United States.

Carole Robinson, President and CEO of both companies is a former Canadian Figure Skating Champion and ranked in the top 10 places of 4 World Figure Skating Championships. Over the past 40 plus years of professional coaching, Carole has worked with many players, current and past, in the NHL, AHL, IHL and other minor professional leagues in North America and Europe. In 1995 she was the Technical Advisor to the Canadian Men's Inline Hockey Team which went to the 1st World Championship's in Chicago and won the Silver Medal.

Powerstride operates Power Skating and Hockey Skills Schools for Ice Hockey in both Canada and the United States and also provides a consulting service for many Minor Hockey Organizations. Powerstride is currently developing a Minor Hockey Training System for Players and Coaches. Upon completion it will be available for organizations and coaches.
